The holiday season is around the corner and the Christmas decorations are going up already. How the hell is it November? I’m very grateful to have made it through 85% of 2021, but at this point I can’t (and don’t) want to remember most of it.
Anyways, one thing about me? I love a fancy pajamas set. Yes, truly. I guess it’s the Leo Sun, Virgo Rising (i.e needing glamour with actual function) coming together but I love wearing a two piece set to bed. It’s a small luxury I’ve given myself. I know it can make no real sense to splurge when you can totally get it for less, but life is short and my body deserves it. As the holiday season spins into town, this is also a great gift idea for anyone in your life. Quite frankly, it makes a great present for any occasion. If you can’t choose a set, purchase a voucher. If you don’t have a ton of cash or would like to consume less this festive season, why not try making something handmade?
I’ve put together some small businesses that sell really a great variety of locally made pajamas and sleepwear in South Africa.
And if you’re looking for more gift ideas? I have a few down below:
- Pottery and ceramics stores to shop from
- CBD-infused products (mainly owned by women of colour)
- Local crystal stores for your fellow woo woo woman
- POC-owned haircare brands (again, all locally made)
- Cool Instagram-worthy candles in South Africa
- Local underwear brands to check out
Anyways, scroll down to see some of the fancy sleepwear brands I follow (and have bought from)
