It’s been a hot minute since I posted anything but I have a special announcement.

In August, this blog turns 5.

In 2013, I figured it was time to have a space for my rants and rambling on my shitty laptop (which I still have, btw). I was a very lost third year student who didn’t know the first thing about blogging, websites or writing (still don’t, lol)

And thus, adaytimethug.wordpress.com was born.

The name spawned from the lyrics of a 2012 Brooke Candy song and because I thought it was cool and edgy. I didn’t have a theme or a working concept and honestly, I’ve just winged the whole damn thing since. I just wanted to write some stuff.

Fast forward to 2018 and I’d been putting off the whole #rebrand thing for far too long.

So, say hello to heyalyx.com

My wonderful logo was done by Matthew Levack (IG: idgalevack) who used my cherry blossom tattoo as a reference. We’ve literally grown up together so it was really cool to work with someone who *got* my idea and made this such a smooth process.

Now I have one less thing on my new year’s resolution list. I’m keen to create more content for the people who care about what I have to say.
